Bring ‘Em Back

This project was inspired by a few different influences and moments in time. One is my love for the NBA and reminiscing on my youth as a young kid who got to grow up during the Gary Payton and Shawn Kemp "Sonic Boom" era. With some ongoing rumors over the past decade that Seattle might get the Sonics back I thought I would add my voice to the echo in the hope to "Bring 'Em Back!"

The second is my love for arcade Pop-a-Shot. The initials "CFV" and "WFV" are reminiscent of visiting my friend Christian and his Dad, William (Frank) in Queens NYC. We went to a pool hall one night where a Pop-a-Shot machine sat empty in the corner. We relentlessly tried to make every basket in the allotted time allowed with the goal to reach the new high score. We learned quickly with more speed came more misses. (Ultimately why I wanted to make an animation that never misses!) Eventually, at 4 AM in the morning, we finally left, and Christian had earned himself the new machine record!
